I'm trying to recall something about 5 hens, but am have a tough time.  I did have four chicks from a late hatch, but they are all sold now.  Currently I have no chicks, older  birds of any age or eggs for sale.  I do have a waiting list that you may want to get on for the Spring of 2011.  There are about 12 people on it at this time and the list is growing rather quickly.  Please let me know if you would be interested in that.

You just never know!  I just made plans to travel to the coast for this holiday weekend.  My girlfriend from Auburn is driving up on Saturday morning and we are heading over to Eureka, Fortuna and then back home Sunday evening.  We don't get to see each other nearly enough, so it should be a fun trip.

I'm so glad to hear from you.  Always enjoy reading letters from other bird fanciers.  You've chosen a great line for dark eggs.  The Bev Davis line has larger birds and larger, darker eggs.  Although I find merit in both the Wade Jeanne and the Bev Davis lines.  I am in contact with Buddy Henry of Backwoods Poultry Farms and will also be adding the "Ron Presley" line next year sometime.  I am breeding for French Standards and it will be a benefit to have these three lines in my breeeding program.

Good luck with your birds and hope you get those EGGS soon!  Should you ever want to add to your flock, I ship everywhere in the continental United States.

Hi Debi,  I saw your link on the BC Marans list on yahoogroups.  Great job on your website!

I joined as a member to stay current with  your postings even though I'm on the other side

of the US, in Massachusetts.   We have a small farm, sell eggs, many kinds of chickens,

but have a small flock of Bev Davis stock we're very excited about.  Love the pictures of

your eggs - we haven't gotten any yet even though I run out every day to check several times!

What part of the country are you from?  If you are nearby, I have a few Splash Orpington chicks still available.  The are the most docile birds and make an awsome addition to any home flock.  Even the Cockerels are sweet.  I have a three year old Grandbaby that plays with them.
